I slowly opened my eyes to find a blinding light shining in my face. My eyes took long to adjust, but I could eventually make out 2 tall men standing over me. They were whispering something to each other, but I couldn't make out what they were saying. All I cared about was what was happening. I can barely remember what happened last night... I remember a party... my friends, and then going home with that guy... One of the ones standing over me. What was happening? Was I kidnapped? I try to move my limbs, but there are some old rusty handcuffs tying me to the bed I'm on. Beside me there is a table, with a knife, a notepad, a cup of water

I stare into his eyes, the fierce beast standing only meters from me. I grip my sword in my right hand, holding on to it for dear life. My only intention is lunging it into it's throat. The plan is all going well, but I can't seem to see my backup. I might have to take on this beast alone. He stares at me with his golden eyes, shining he crammed the sun in his eyes. But he doesn't scare me. Only two years ago this beast was my best friend.

It's back! With the goal of bringing a little cheer to patients in the hospital during the holiday season, the deviantART Holiday Card Project connects deviants from around the world and applies their tremendous artistic abilities in designing and creating uplifting holiday cards. In past years, the Project has received more than 5,000 cards sent in by more than 1,000 deviants from 50 different countries/political regions. Cards were then divvied up and distributed in-person by deviantART members to local Los Angeles hospitals, with additional cards given to various hospitals in the U.S. and abroad for hospital staff members to hand out to
